But…you might feel like you don’t know where to start, where to go next, or who to turn to.

Let me start at the beginning.

My husband, Emanuel, and I had moved from Toronto to be closer to my family and we were ready to become parents.

Then we were really ready.

Then… we became devastated after month after month of negative pregnancy tests.

I have PCOS and, together with Emanuel we have male factor infertility, but we didn’t know that until many months into trying to get pregnant.

We stumbled into many unknowns.

The complex grief of trying to conceive hurt deeply. I felt loneliness as I witnessed friends and loved ones have the families they dreamed of, while my dream of the family I wanted on the timeline I’d banked on was slipping away.

Even though I’d always been a positive person, my fertility journey tested me. I was shocked at how much I had to learn on my own – despite having a wonderful medical team and added support to complement my experience with my (albeit wonderful) clinic.

But there was hope.

The key to overcoming my heartache was my coaching certification that I began in 2017. The coaching tools I learned transformed my experience. It didn’t take long for me to learn that what I provide as a coach helps fill a need for many people navigating their own fertility journeys.

Meanwhile, at the end of my own choosing in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with ICSI and PGT-A testing, loss, OHSS, losing friendships, blot clot emergency room visits, re-creating healthy boundaries, facing baby showers, friends and family getting pregnant quickly, and the ups and downs of pregnancy…

We finally welcomed our son, Ethan.

We also eventually entered secondary infertility, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and that’s all an equally heart-wrenching journey that deserves its own book.

My personal fertility journey didn’t go as planned but it has shaped me personally and professionally and I love coaching and supporting people like you through yours.

You deserve to be supported in the unique ways your journey twists and turns.

As a practising coach now certified with the International Coaching Federation, I’m one of the few certified coaches who is supporting individuals and couples facing fertility decisions.

This included decisions on egg freezing, IVF, primary or secondary infertility, miscarriage and other loss, surrogacy and pregnancy.

I love what I do and I do it with heart, a laugh here and there, and with many tools up my sleeve.

That’s a glimpse into my story. What’s your fertility story so far?

I’m here if you’d like to share.
