If you’re dealing with fertility struggles right now then you’re having to deal with the overwhelm of that, plus this pandemic. Many infertile people and couples are dealing with a secondary struggle like a less healthy relationship with food, addiction, anxiety, other health issues and/or depression. With all that, plus other daily stresses, you might be feeling like there’s not a light at the end of the tunnel. You have every right to feel how you need to feel. Fertility struggles are hard and fertility struggles in a pandemic are even harder. But know this:
You are not alone and you matter.
There’s help available if it’s getting to be too much. If you are having more dark thoughts and you have a therapist or counsellor, consider booking an appointment sooner than later. If you’ve stopped seeing a therapist or counsellor or have never had one, consider booking a new appointment or finding a new one.
If you have suicidal thoughts or in any other type of crisis, check out the appropriate phone number by province and territory below and when in doubt call 911.
If you’re not in immediate crisis and you’re not sure what you need, please always consider booking a call with me using my scheduler or by email at laura@yourfertilitycoach.ca. I’m in your corner.
